mission statement
Our Mission Statement is the Council will work to represent and promote the wellbeing of the residents of Salfords & Sidlow
We will do this by identifying and, where appropriate, implementing opportunities for improvement in services and facilities and the diligent handling of all matters affecting the community, in accordance with its statutory and discretionary powers and responsibilities and reflecting the need to protect and improve the parish.
The Council undertakes to act at all times in a fair, reasonable and professional manner, thereby satisfying the qualifying criteria for achieving and maintaining the status of a Quality Council, while also adopting the General Power of Competence in accordance with the provisions of the Localism Act.

Responsibilities, policies and procedures
To exercise due diligence and professionalism in our involvement in matters of a statutory and discretionary nature, including our dealings with officials and elected representatives of Reigate & Banstead Borough Council and Surrey County Council and other outside organisations and individuals.
Community
To help build and maintain strong community links by engaging with our residents so that they are aware of the Council’s role and its responsibilities, and we are aware of their needs while always striving to provide a high standard of service.
Environment
To help create and maintain a safe, pleasant and healthy environment for our residents to live and work.
