Salfords and Sidlow is really made up of two communities.
Salfords has the A23 running through it, and has local shops, Industrial Estates, businesses, a primary school and many community groups, whilst across the A217 we have Sidlow which is far more rural with a lot of farm land and country lanes!
The Parish Council has links with most of our community groups in both villages.
The Parish Council work closely with our community groups to support them on their aspirations for the villages.
They share their news in our quarterly newsletter – see latest edition above
We also try to support the local community with grant funding which is available . We offer community funding to groups and individuals to support appropriate activities and causes which are likely to benefit Salfords and Sidlow as a whole, or a significant number or group of persons residing within the Parish. We have funds which are to be used for the benefit of the community.
If you believe we can help you please contact the Clerk
and we will review if we can assist.
