Parish Council Meeting Dates

Salfords and Sidlow Parish Council meets once a month. Most months the meeting is held in the rear hall of Salfords Village Hall on Honeycrock Lane. Once a quarter, the council meets in the Parish Room, upstairs at Emmanuel Church, Reigate Road, Sidlow.

Councillors are delighted when residents attend the monthly Parish Council meeting and you are more than welcome to attend and question your councillors or bring anything to their attention. We have a Public Question period just for this at the start of every meeting. Meetings commence at 19.30pm. If possible, please notify the Clerk to the Parish Council if you wish to attend to raise an obscure matter as this will enable the council to prepare accordingly.

Meetings follow a standard agenda and lasts as long as it takes to complete the matters under discussion but are normally completed by 10.00pm. Visitors are not required to stay for the whole meeting and may leave when the Public Question period has finished if they so wish.

Councillors also meet at their Councillor surgery on the Friday evening before each Council meeting to review planning applications and discuss any other matters residents want to raise. Public attendance at our Councillor Surgery during the pre-determination stage is also welcomed. This is one of your opportunities to liaise with Councillors and make comment in an informal setting.

Should you be a Wheelchair user and wish to attend the Parish Council Meetings please contact the Clerk on 01737 780339 in advance of the meeting in order that suitable access can be provided.
