Your Parish Council is your voice in local government. We represent the residents and businesses within the parish to ensure that both the borough and county councils maintain and uphold the services that they provide. In addition the Parish Council manage a precept, currently £30,000 which based on a Band D property equates to £21.64 per household (2014/15 rates).
As local councillors, we review and comment on all planning applications made to Reigate and Banstead Borough Council. We review and comment on Borough and County strategic plans which may affect our Parish and in particular the green belt around us.
In addition Councillors represent the parish on a number of local organisations and they are listed further on on this website.
We have set up and oversee the running of Salfords & NV Youth Club as well as owning and operating the Village Hall.
We lease the land from Salfords Club so the playground and green there can be used by the whole community.
