From 25th May, Salfords has been enjoying an additional bus service.
MetroBus has extended their route 460, from Epsom to Reigate, & Redhill to go south to the East Surrey Hospital, Whitebushes, then via the A23 to Salfords, Horley, [Brighton Road], Gatwick South and Crawley Bus Station. This is an hourly service; using double deckers and some single deckers it provides a near 30 minute service interval with the route 400 along the core A23 route from Redhill to Crawley. http://www.metrobus.co.uk/travel-info/
The Salfords Church stops, north and southbound now have 6 buses per hour on work days until evening time and reduced on Sundays.
These are the services every weekday hour both north and southbound;
3 x Route 100
1 x Route 400
1 x Route 424
1 x Route 460
West Avenue and Tollgate Avenue stops will have 5 buses each hour both north and southbound.
Other route changes include the 424 that is now extended from Copthorne to Crawley Bus Station via Three Bridges Railway Station. It runs every 30 mins from Redhill to Reigate then Meadvale & Woodhatch to the Hospital and then hourly via Whitebushes, Masons Bridge Road & Honeycrock Lane to Salfords Church, then A23 south to Horley [Library stops], Burstow, Smallfield and Copthorne and on to Three Bridges rail station and terminating at Crawley Bus Station.
