Jill was co-opted onto the Council in October 2015. She has lived in Salfords since 1987 with her husband Ray, and has a grown-up son and daughter. Jill has always taken an interest in matters affecting the village, and having recently left her full-time job, has more time to get involved with community issues. She enjoys living in this lovely part of Surrey, and hopes to be able to help protect the local environment by getting involved as a member of the Parish Council.

Jim has been a member of Salfords & Sidlow Parish Council since 1991 and was elected as vice chairman in May 2015. He chairs the monthly council surgeries where the public and police are always welcome. He is the parish council's representative for the Surrey Association of Local Councils and deputy representative on the Redhill Aerodrome Consultative Committee. Jim instigated the youth club where he is Treasurer and a volunteer youth worker.

Dave was elected as Chairman at the annual council meeting in 2015. Following retirement after 30 years in the brewing industry Dave was co opted to the Parish Council in 2010 and is now an elected member. He is also Chair of Governors at Oakwood School . He is married to Vera, and they became residents of Salfords in 1986, living in Park View Road before moving to Lodge Lane in 2003.

Martin was elected onto the council on May 7th 2015. He moved to Stumblehole Farm, Dean Oak Lane with his wife Christina in 1987, he has two daughters. The farm is a closed Pedigree Hereford Herd. Recently retired from the City of London when he sold his Financial services business he founded in 1991.

Wayne was elected onto the Council on 7 May 2015. He moved to Salfords in 2010 following retirement from a career in the Fire Service. He lives in Axes Lane with his wife Jan and runs a small cabinet making business. He has three grown up adopted sons. He became a councillor to be more involved with the local community. He is a firm supporter of the “Green Belt” and hopes to protect it from inappropriate and unnecessary development.

Caroline was originally co-opted onto the Council in November 2012 and is now an elected member. She has lived in salfords for over 14 years with her husband and teenage son. Caroline runs a mechanical services business with her husband in Reigate and dedicates time to her son's PTA and Age UK. Caroline is is the Chairman of the Youth Club and enjoys the opportunity to contribute to Salfords becoming a better community for the future of all residents.

Clive has been a member of the Parish Council for over 25 years. He has been involved with successful campaigns to stop Redhill Aerodrome getting a hard runway and to prevent development in the Green Belt. He is also a Governor of Oakwood School. He retired recently, having sold his business after 40 years as a book publisher.
Stuart has resigned from the parish Council because he has moved to Horsham. We thank him for his time and support to making a difference for the village. We have a vacancy so if you are interested in becoming a Councillor please contact the Clerk
